Where we're up to in March in the Digi-Tech department with assessments and classroom work:

Our first Year 9 rotation of the year have just finished making their cookie box designs for the Integrated Technology Project. I keep a copy of their electronic designs in a folder on the cloud for later on in the year.

NEXT TOPIC: Slide shows (started these today!)

Year 10 students have completed their first assessment and are working on their second. By the time they've completed it and gained an Achieved, they'll have 6 level 1 NCEA credits ready and waiting for them when they start Year 11.

NEXT TOPIC: Presentations

Year 11 (and other Level 1) students are just completing their first Achievement Standard of the year. 4 credits available for this.

NEXT TOPIC: Analysing websites

Year 12 (and other Level 2) students have just completed their first assessment worth 5 credits and are working on a second (worth another 3 credits).

NEXT TOPIC: Databases

Year 13/Level 3 students have completed their first assessment worth 6 credits and are now working on a second assessment which is a research and report writing one. They have homework and need to put time into this assessment outside of class time - very important in order to meet the assessment deadline.
