Year 10 Option

The Year 10 Course is designed to give students a solid grounding in a range of computing skills. Our topics include: Word Processing, Publications, Presentations and Spreadsheets. Students also have the opportunity to achieve some Level 1 Unit Standard credits while they are on this course in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Publications. It is a good preempt for students who wish to take Digital Technologies at Senior level.

Unit Standards are available on this course: (not all students will necessarily be offered all assessments)

Unit Standard 101 - Develop and use keyboarding skills to enter text.

Unit Standard 102 - Consolidate keyboarding skills and produce accurate text based documents.

Unit Standard 5946 - Use computer technology to create and deliver a presentation from given content. ∞

Unit Standard 18734 - Create a web page using a template ∞
